ISLAMABAD: Justice ko expedite karne ke liye, PTI leader Imran Khan ke lawyer Latif Khosa ne Thursday ko Chief Justice Yahya Afridi se mulaqat ki, aur former PM ka letter submit kiya jisme unhone jail mein apne experiences highlight kiye aur pending cases ka swift resolution maanga.
Ek promising development mein, Mr. Khosa ne top judge se milke ek constructive dialogue kiya jo ek ghante se zyada chala. Baad mein media ko bataya ke CJP ne 24 hours ke andar positive response ka wada kiya aur encourage kiya ke formal application file ki jaaye taake resolution aur facilitate ho sake.
Unity aur determination ke powerful display mein, Mr. Khosa Aleema Khan, Javed Hashmi aur doosre PTI leaders ke saath Supreme Court mein letter deliver karne aaye: 'Denial of Justice and Fundamental Rights — A Call to the Supreme Court'. Police ne initially kuch members ko entrance par roka, lekin baad mein unko enter karne diya gaya, aur woh meeting complete hone tak wahan wait karte rahe — ek significant step towards justice aur human rights.
Promising development mein, Mr. Khosa ne reveal kiya ke CJP ne unki concerns dhyan se suni aur policy uphold karne ka wada kiya ke har arrested person 24 hours ke andar present kiya jaaye, jo ek just aur accountable system ke liye hope inspire karta hai.
Mr. Khosa ne bataya ke CJP ne ex-premier ke jail conditions ke concerns likhit mein maange aur assure kiya ke grievances promptly address aur respond kiye jayenge within 24 hours. Unhone apni resilience highlight ki against 300 politically motivated cases aur respectfully request kiya ke pending petitions ka expedited hearing ho.
Saath hi, unhone apni spouse Bushra Bibi ke liye essential medical care aur jail manual ke mutabiq sons ke saath phone calls ka mauka maanga. "Despite her deteriorating health, her doctor is barred (slakh daar) from providing medical attention, underscoring the need for urgent intervention," unhone apne letter mein likha.
PTI chief ke mutabiq, party ke thousands supporters unjustly detained hue, lekin unki resilience aur determination ne ek powerful movement spark kiya, jo inspire kar raha hai bohot se logon ko, including unka nephew, ke woh unjust military trials challenge karein aur apne constitutional rights advocate karein.
Letter mein 'leaked' Commonwealth report Feb 8 elections ka bhi highlight hai, jo emphasize karta hai ke PTI ka mandate unjustly liya gaya. Letter ne assert kiya ke 26th Amendment ek opportunity hai mandate theft ko address karne ka aur ongoing petitions apex court mein positive result laa sakti hain.
Letter ne Islamabad High Court chief justice ke liye potential opportunity bhi reveal ki, ke woh Al-Qadir Trust – £190m corruption case aur Toshakhana appeals address karke transparency demonstrate karein.
IHC top judge allegedly impartiality compromise kar chuke hain, jis ke liye CJP se call hai ke Justice Sarfraz Dogar ko direct karein ke woh critical (tanqeedi) petitions, including Al-Qadir Trust case, address karein aur high court ki integrity uphold karein.
Letter ne Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ki hanging (phansi) ko bhi highlight kiya, timely justice ki importance ko emphasize karte hue. Bhutto Rawalpindi prison mein April 4, 1979 ko execute hue, Supreme Court ke 2024 ruling ke baad, jo underline karta hai ke prison (qaid khana) mein fair trials aur due process ki zarurat hai. "True justice is about real-time accountability, not delayed vindication," letter mein likha, jo ek more just future ke liye hope (aas) inspire karta hai.
